TVFD, May 13

The TVHS Lacrosse Team joined TVFD for a day of community service and a glimpse into the life of a firefighter. The day started off with a tour, information about the department as a whole, and how teamwork and practice all play a part in the fire department. Afternoon car fire on the turnpike

TVFD, May 06

At approximately 2:07 PM, TVFD was alerted for a vehicle fire at mile marker 293.4 westbound of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Engine 69-5 went en route with a crew of 6. While en route the turnpike commission advised engine 69-5 that the car was fully involved with a small brush fire down the embankment. -ponds
-dry hydrants
-creeks (preferably larger to sustain water flow demands of 500-1000 gallons per minute)

Tree on Wires

TVFD, April 22

On 04/22/2023 at 14:23 hours TVFD crews were alerted to the 300 block of Swamp Road for a report of a tree on wires with fire spreading into the grass. Brush 69-1 and Brush 69-2 responded to the incident and arriving units found a tree on wires with active fire. Engine 69-5 responded and staged at the end of the driveway. TVFD, April 22

On 04/22/2023 TVFD crews were alerted to the report of a trash/dumpster fire on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Brush 69-1 along with Engine 69-1 made the response. After arriving on scene Brush 69-1 pulled 50 feet of hose off the booster reel and extinguished the 2 small spot fires and cooled off a set of wheels from a Tractor Trailer that were in the grass area off the turnpike. Remembering chief Michael Romig

Today marks the 17 year anniversary of the passing of Fire Chief Michael Romig. It’s hard to believe that 17 years has slipped by us already. No one would have ever thought that we would get that phone call on that cold April morning 17 years ago when God took him away from us.

TVFD, April 08

The TVFD was dispatched to Hopewell Road in Warwick Twp for a brush fire.
Chief 69 arrived on scene to find a 20x20 working fire in the woods. Brush 69-1 arrived and deployed a hand line to start extinguishing the fire.
