14:47hrs - TVFD was dispatched to the 4400 block of North Twin Valley Rd for a brush fire, reported to be an out of control controlled burn, unknown size area. Engine 69-1, Engine 69-5, Brush 69-1, Brush 69-2 and Utility 69 made the response, along with Brush 24 (Geigertown) and Lancaster Co Brush 34 and Tanker 34 (Caernarvon). Crews arrived on scene to with approximately 2 acres involved, Brush 69-1 & Brush 69-2 attacked the fire in the woods directly off N. Twin Valley Road, with responding units approaching the fire off Caernarvon Drive Engine 69-5 supplied Berks Brush 24 and Lancaster Brush 34. Tanker 34 supplied water to Engine 69-5, a sawyer from Forestry 17 cut down three trees. Crews overhauled several piles in the woods and wet the entire area down.

The fire was placed under control and units were available at 16:43hrs
