April 4, 2007
At 4:35pm, The Twin Valley Volunteers were alerted for a report of a Motor Vehicle Crash at the Intersection of Rt 23 and Rt 82 in Elverson Boro. Engine 69-1 made the response in seconds due to the fact the Engine and its crew just cleared a Ambulance Assist call down in Warwick. While enroute the Chester County Fire Board advised units that a car was into a house with unknown injuries. Battalion 69A(Miller) was first to arrive and he reported he had two vehicles both with entrapment and both vehicles were into seperate houses.
Battalion 69A advised Engine 69-1 to pull up to the scene and the Engine and its crew were to work on the car on the right side of the street. Engine 69-1 arrived and deployed all of its Holmatro Rescue Tools and the extracation was performed in 6 minutes.
Rescue 69 arrived and orders were given to work on the pick up truck into the other building. The Rescue and its crew also deployed its Holmatro Rescue Tools and the extracation was performed in 7 minutes. Engine 69-2 arrived and its crew assisted Rescue 69 and stood by for a possible Helicopter landing.
