At 9:32PM, the TVFD was alerted for the reported odor of smoke in a house, in the 200 block of Beam Road in West Nantmeal Township. Within two minutes, the assignment was upgraded by the Chester County Fire Board due to the caller now reporting visible smoke in the basement.

On the box alarm upgrade, two engines from Station 48 (Glen Moore) and an ambulance from 33 (Honey Brook, covering Elverson EMS) we added. Deputy 69A (T.McEwen) arrived and confirmed a smoke condition in the basement.

A working fire in the wall was discovered that extended well into the second story of the house. Units cleared at 11:42PM.
