One Pinned In Caernarvon
By Chief Engineer Corey Hostetler
October 6, 2006
At 8:28 AM, Rescue 9 was called to assist the Churchtown Fire Company with an auto accident reported with subjects trapped, in front of 2386 Main Street. Rescue 9 arrived on location at 8:37, and found one patient still in the vehicle. Crews from Churchtown had the vehicle stabilized upon our arrival. Rescue 9 went into service, removing both front doors, and rolling the dash. Extrication was complete at 8:47.
Just after completing extrication, Chester County Fireboard notified us of a second call for the district, which was a building fire in East Nantmeal Township. Rescue 9 cleared the accident at 8:54.
