Open House at the Village Library

TVFD was invited to attend the Villiage Library's open house today. It was a fun filled event with activies for all ages. It was a wet morning but turned into a nice afternoon with a large turnout. Our members entertained questions from the public about the department, apparatus, and what we do. Kids got tours of the trucks and a bag of goodies containing stickers, fun activities and important fire prevention information.

October is Fire Prevention Month. So when you set your clocks back for day light savings, don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. For other safety tips - check out the the Public Info page to help us better protect you!
