Winds, Wires and a Brush fire

As strong winds moved through the area, the TVFD was dispatched to North Manor Rd in West Nantmeal for wires down. Deputy 69, along with Brush 69-1 responded and were advised of a brush fire started by the downed wires. Upon arriving on location, Deputy 69 reported a working brush fire involving woods and a field with live wires down. Due to the fast moving fire, additional apparatus from 69 and 48 were requested. Engine 69-1, Brush 48, Engine 48-5 along with Engine 48-2 made responses. Brush 69-1, Brush 48, and Engine 69-1 made their way across the field to start controlling the fire while 48-5 set up lines for water supply. With crews working together to get the upper hand on the fire and control it till the power company arrived and shut the power off. Crews were able to extinguish the fire and finish mop up.
