The TVFD had our annual Fundraising Golf Outing on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the French Creek Golf Club. It was a beautiful day, sunny and warm with a refreshing breeze. The golfers were treated to breakfast at registration which was donated by McDonalds and coffee by Starbucks. There were beverages around the course to keep hydrated donated by Walmart and Morgantown Beverage. The Outing started at 9am following a Scramble Format. There were several challenges for the golfers. A favorite was the Longest Drive wearing Firefighters Gear. We also had the winner of the Closest-to-Pin on Hole #10 to shoot for a Hole-in-One for $1,000,000.00. Patriot Chevrolet provided a 2025 Chevy Silverado for the person who got a Hole-in-One on Hole #8. Nobody hit one.
After play was completed, we had a catered lunch provided by French Creek GC. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed a delicious lunch. After awards were presented, we had the Closest-to-Pin winner (Bryan Yackel) take his shot for a Hole-in-One and $1,000,000.00. Sadly, he missed.
