RT 345 & Rt 23 Auto Accident

At 14:30 the department was dispatched to an MVA at RT 23 & RT345. While enroot Chief 69 was advised of possible entrapment and a victim laying on the roadway. Rescue 69 responded with 4. Upon arrival on the scene Chief 69 advised no entrapment and one patient laying in the grass that self extricated. When Rescue 69 arrived on scene the crew started patient care and hazard mediation. Rt 23 was closed do to the positioning of the vehicles blocking the roadway. EMS arrived on scene and took over patient care. Engine 69-1 responded with a crew of 4 and assisted in traffic control and fluid control. Utility 69-2 shut down RT 345. Caernarvon Fire police assisted with traffic control on Rt 23. The roadway was closed for approximately 6hrs. All units went available at 18:28 when the roadway was reopened.
