At 2128 the department was dispatched to 54 East Main St in Elverson Borough for a garage fire. Chief 69 went on location with a working fire and asked for working fire dispatch and assumed command. Ladder 69 went en route with 6 and was instructed to pull into the driveway and pull both bumper lines. Engine 69-5 went en route and and was given orders to lay a line from Ladder69 to the hydrant. Lancaster Engine 34-1 provided fire protection to the neighboring buildings. Engine 69-1 provided staffing and lighting to the scene while Lancaster Tanker 34 set up to supply Ladder 69. The Chester County Fire Marshalls office performed the investigation. The fire was placed under control at 21:49. All units cleared at 23:30.
