Water supply drill
By Lieutenant Darryl Romig
August 12, 2021
On Thursday evening, TVFD members split crews and assisted by Berks Tanker 24 (Geigertown) and Tanker 73 (Ludwigs Corner) set up a water supply drill. Ladder 69 set up a draft from a Fold-a-tank and supplied multiple hand lines, and ladder pipe, flowing the water into a small pond. Tanker 24, Tanker 73 and Engine 69-5 shuttled water from a large local pond to Ladder 69. Engine 69-1 drafted from the pond and filled the tankers. Thank you to Geigertown FC and Ludwigs Corner FC for being part of our drill. Check back in the next few weeks for some more exciting things involving some acquired structures for training.
