Just after 8:30 AM on Sunday January 12 TVFD, EHBEMS, and Medic 193 were dispatched to an auto accident with entrapment in the 4000 Block of Conestoga Rd in East Nantmeal Twp. Rescue 69 arrived to find a single vehicle that struck multiple trees with an occupant trapped inside. Crews immediately went to work removing a tree that fell top of the vehicle to gain patient access. Engine 69-1 arrived and assisted the Rescue crew with removing doors from both sides of the vehicle. The patient was extricated within 30 minutes and care was transferred to EMS. The road was closed for about 2 hours until the vehicle was removed.
