Vehicle Into Snow Bank On Twin Valley Road

At 5:30pm, TVFD and EMS were alerted to a vehicle accident reported serious on North Twin Valley Road in Caernarvon Berks. Responding units were advised of a single vehicle into a snow bank, with the driver possibly unresponsive. Ambulance 89-1 and Chief 69 (Hornberger) arrived confirming a vehicle partially blocking the roadway, and the driver stating he was not injured. EMS evaluated the subject to confirm no medical services were needed, and the police took over the scene for an investigation. Rescue 69's crew assisted fire police with traffic control and secured hazards on the vehicle. Several residential mailboxes were also damaged from the accident, spreading mail into the adjacent field. Crewmembers climbed through the snow to collect the pieces of mail and secured them back into the appropriate boxes. The vehicle was safely removed and all units were placed available by command.
