Tanker Assist At Robeson House Fire

At 11:01pm, TVFD was alerted for a tanker to assist Station 24 (Geigertown FC) at a working house fire on Morgantown Road in Robeson Berks. Engine 69-5 was due on the second alarm response with several other companies from the tri county area. Command on location was reporting a kitchen fire that rapidly extended throughout multiple floors due to high winds in the area. Engine 69-5 arrived and split crews to assist at the fire scene as well as with water supply operations. The crew assisted multiple companies on location with suppression efforts and extensive overhaul, while Engine 69-5 stood-by in the tanker shuttle line up. Battling the elements and fire conditions, great teamwork was utilized to minimize further damage nor injury. Once the fire was placed under control and additional water supply was not needed, TVFD was released by Command 24.

Engine 69-5 returned to the area at 12:37am.
