At 3:47pm, TVFD was alerted to a woods fire on Northside Road in Warwick. Brush 69-1 and Engine 69-5 arrived onscene reporting a possible controlled burn that spread into the adjacent woods. Crews extinguished the fire and performed overhaul of the area. Reminder to residents when performing controlled burns, please check with local restrictions, have a water source close by, and never leave the area unattended.
