At 8:59pm, TVFD and mutual aid companies were dispatched to a house fire on Rock Run Road in Warwick. TVFD volunteers were actively involved in weekly training at the firehouse when the call came in and had 4 trucks respond within 3 minutes after initial dispatch. Responding units were advised of multiple 911 calls reporting an attached deck fire that was rapidly spreading into the house. Chief 69 (Hornberger) arrived on location confirming a large single home fully involved and requested additional tankers be dispatched due to lack of hydrants in the area. Engine 69-1 laid a supply line up the steep narrow driveway and deployed multiple handlines and large attack lines. Ladder 69 took the driveway behind Engine 69-1 and the crew joined in the fire attack. Due to the entire structure being well involved in fire and multiple floor and roof collapses occuring, an exterior defensive attack was established. Engine 69-5 picked up the supply line at the end of the driveway and set up as the nurse tanker for water supply operations while the crew was sent to assist the suppression crews. Rescue 69 established an air bank fill area and set up scene lighting along the main roadway. Engine 62-1 (Ridge) established a fill site at Saint Peter's quarry to fill tankers during shuttle operations. Additional crews and apparatus from Ridge, Ludwig's Corner, Geigertown, and Kimberton assisted with firefighting and water supply efforts. EMS units and TVFD support members set up rehab and refreshments for firefighters. Everyone involved worked long and hard with the conditions faced and spent several hours on location into the early morning. After final overhaul operations were completed, 65,000+ gallons of water and 120+ gallons of foam were used in total to bring the situation under control.

Thanks to all the fire and EMS mutual aid companies that assisted onscene, as well as Churchtown FC for covering the Twin Valley area during the call.

Special thank you to Morgantown McDonald's and Jerry's Pizza Pie for donating food and drinks for the crews.

Final units cleared the scene at 1:44am.
