At 7:58pm, TVFD and EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on North Chestnut Street in Elverson Borough. Deputy 69 (Brooks) arrived reporting a single vehicle up an embankment and against a pole, with all occupants self extricated. Rescue 69 and Engine 69-1 provided scene lighting and crews secured hazards on the vehicle. Fire police closed the roadway while EMS from Elverson-Honey Brook ambulance evaluated the patient. The driver received treatment for minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital. Fire crews remained until removal of the vehicle and being cleared by State Police.
