At 5:25pm, TVFD was dispatched for "full company" to assist Station 24 (Geigertown FC) on the 2nd alarm structure fire on Leighton Lane in Robeson Township. Ladder 69 and Engine 69-2 arrived and provided manpower for fire suppression on the home, while crews from other companies were split to contain a large woods fire to the rear of the structure. Engine 69-5 arrived and joined in the water supply operations, while Rescue 69 set up for possible air bank ops. An interior fire attack of the home was initially performed by crews from Geigertown, TVFD and Birdsboro until deteriorating conditions and a partially floor collapse forced an evacuation and a safer exterior attack was then set up. The bulk of the fire in the structure was extinguished and extensive overhaul operations were completed. Crews were then utilized to extinguish hot spots along the woodline, while forestry firefighting crews from throughout multiple counties arrived onscene and began containment and suppression deep into the woods at the head of the fire.

While Engine 69-5 was standing by in the tanker shuttle, they were redirected to another working brush fire with extension into an outbuilding and trailer on Shed Road in Union Township. The crew arrived and was again placed into water supply operations.

All crews were later released by the incident command at both fire scenes and returned to the area.

Final fire units cleared at 8:24pm and fire police cleared at 11pm.

*Thanks to Churchtown and Ludwig's Corner FC for providing coverage of the Twin Valley area while crews operated.
