At 3:50am, TVFD and Ambulance 189 (Elverson/Honey Brook) were dispatched to an automobile accident on Route 176 southbound at milemarker 1 in Caernarvon. Chief 69 arrived onscene reporting a one vehicle accident head on into a guardrail, with one injured subject already out of the vehicle. Rescue 69's crew removed debris from the roadway and contained a small fluid leak in the median, while fire police reduced traffic to one lane through the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital by EMS for treatment of minor injuries and fire crews remained onscene until removal of the vehicle.
