At 1:36am, TVFD and mutual aid companies were dispatched to Harmonyville Road in Warwick for a house fire. Chief 69 arrived onscene reporting a single ranch style house with heavy fire showing from all sides. The working fire dispatch and a tanker task force was requested as "Harmonyville Command" was established. Engine 69-2 and Engine 62-1 (Ridge) arrived and began fire attack with multiple handlines. Crews were advised by neighbors that the 2 occupants of the home were believed to still be inside. A survey of the structure determined crews could not perform a safe interior search due to the volume of fire and deteriorating conditions of the home's structural elements creating risk of collapse. Engine 62-5 and Engine 69-5 arrived and established water supply operations. Ladder 69's crew assisted with fire suppression and Deputy 69 assumed fireground operations. Rescue 69 set up scene lighting and air bank operations. Mutual aid units from Norco, Lionville, Ludwig's Corner, Geigertown, and Kimberton assisted onscene with fire ops and water supply. The extreme hoarding conditions inside the home and heavy fire load, created many challenges and prolonged the firefighting efforts. After the fire was brought under control, heavy equipment was requested to the scene to assist with overhaul efforts and open up areas to assist crews in searching for possible victims. Sadly, both residents were located by crews and had perished inside the home. Due to a lengthy overhaul process and investigation, units remained onscene for an extended amount of time.

Final units cleared the scene at 10:50am.

*TVFD expresses our deepest regards to the victim's family and friends.
