Early last evening and again this morning, ATV 69 and manpower from TVFD were requested to assist Station 33 (Honey Brook) and other agencies on a search of a missing subject. EMS units were originally dispatched around 5pm Thursday evening for a hunter having a medical emergency next to Struble Lake. After further information was gathered, it was determined the subject lost cell phone contact and may have become unresponsive in an unknown location. Multiple agencies converged at a central staging point and began a detailed search over a large area, at times involving difficult terrain. After hours of searching into the late evening by almost 100 personnel, efforts were called off due to the hazardous conditions nightfall created. The search was resumed the next morning and the victim was recovered by responders. Thoughts and prayers go out from the members to the victim's friends and family.
