Late this evening at 12:53am, Rescue 69 was dispatched as the RIT (Rapid Intervention) to assist Station 24 (Geigertown) on a working building fire in Robeson Berks. Reports were of a working fire in a conveyer belt system that spread to the building at the H&K Quarry on Hay Creek Road. Rescue 69 arrived with four volunteers and were instructions to set up equipment at front of the structure. Captain 69A (Belgarde) performed a full safety walk around of the structure with the rescue crew, while Engineer D. Romig set up scene lighting and assisted at the tanker dump site. Thankfully all fire crews were safe throughout the incident and no injuries were reported.

Rescue 69 was released by Chief 24 (P. Shirey) at 3:11am.
