One in Cardiac Arrest and Two Trapped on the Green Stamp

At 1:44 PM the Twin Valley Fire Department along with Elverson EMS and Medics from Brandywine Hospital were alerted for an auto accident with entrapment on the Pennsylvania Turnpike at mile marker 306.4 east bound.

Rescue 69 and Engine 69-2 arrived with 8 volunteers and found one subject still trapped in the vehicle. Assistant 69(Hornberger) established "306 Command" The rescue's crew went to work and removed both doors in a matter of minutes. The Engine's crew went to check the other vehicle and found the driver still in the car without a pulse. The crew immediately pulled the person out of the car and began CPR. Care was then turned over to Medic 93.

Rescue and Engine Company returned at 3:33 PM
