| Twin Valley Fire Department Members firefighter Ray Dymond and Lieutenant Colt Grazioli recently completed RIT training hosted by Honey Brook Fire Co. Rapid Intervention Teams or RIT is a term commonly used today to describe a group of firefighters at a structure fire or other incident dedicated to rescuing a firefighter should they find themselves trapped, disoriented and lost or go down due to a medical emergency. If a MAYDAY is declared, it is the job of the RIT Team to remove the firefighter from the structure or hazardous environment and get them to EMS crews in a safe environment.
