Rescue Company With One Heavily Trapped in Caernarvon

At 4:56 PM the Twin Valley Fire Department along with Elverson EMS and Medics from Brandywine Hospital were alerted for a reported vehicle accident with entrapment. The accident was reported to be in the area of the 200 block of Swamp Road in Caernarvon Township.

Deputy 69(Hostetler) arrived first and found a car that had slammed thru a fence with the driver of the car still heavily trapped inside. "Swamp Road command" was established. Rescue 69 and Engine 69-2 arrived next with 10 volunteers and went to work removing the drivers door, roof and the driver side "B' post.

Units cleared at 5:48 PM
