Accident with Fire on the Turnpike |

| At 5:17 PM, the Twin Valley Fire Department was dispatched to the west bound lanes of the Pennsylvannia Turnpike for an accident with entrapment and a truck possibly on fire. Engine 69-2 went responding with a crew of five, followed shortly after by Engine 69-5 with a crew of four. Engine 69-2 arrived to find an overturned dump truck with the cab fully involved and the patient self-extracated. ENG 2's crew pulled one of the front bumper lines and started thier fire attack. They were followed closely behind by ENG 5's crew who pulled the other line and helped in the supression. The operator of the vehicle suffered burns to the body, and was flown by Sky Flightcare to a local trauma center. Units cleared at 7:08 PM.
