At 21:17 the department was dispatched to mile post 294.0 west on the PA Turnpike for a tractor trailer fire. Chief 69 went en route was advised the rear of the truck was on fire. Engine 69-5 went en route with 6 personnel. Chief 69 went on location with a tractor on fire spreading into the trailer and advised engine 69-5 to deploy both front bumper lines. Engine 69-5 arrived on scene and deployed both bumper lines one to the tractor and one to the rear of the trailer for extinguishment. Utility 69-1 arrived with additional manpower to assist with overhaul. The fire was placed under control at 21:45. All units went available at 22:28.
