Barn Fire

At 12:04 the department was dispatched to 120 Hopewell Rd for a barn. Engine 69-1 and Engine 69-5 responded and were advised of a barn on fire with fire through the roof. Deputy 69 asked for the working fire dispatch and first alarm tanker task force and assumed command. 69 units entered off of Trythall Rd and 62 units entered off of St. Peters Rd providing units on both sides of the fire. Engine 69-1, 69-5 and 62-1 went into service with multiple lines and master streams. Engine 62-1 set up a draft site at a pond and supplied engine 69-5 at the scene. Incoming tankers supplied 62-5 from a fill site at St. Peters quarry. Fire was placed under control at 13:10 with extensive overhaul. Chester County Fire Marshall 101 provided the investigation. Units went available at 16:56. Rehab 55 provided food and beverages.
