07:09hrs - The Twin Valley Fire Department along with Lionville FD’s boat 47, Ambulance 89-2, Medic 193 to the area of 3861 Conestoga Road for a water rescue reported to be a vehicle in the water. Assistant 47 and Assistant 69 arrived on scene to find a vehicle off the roadway in standing water with one occupant in the vehicle. Assistant 69 recalled the boat at this time, EMS arrived on location to find no injuries to the occupant. The crew of Rescue 69 utilized a roof ladder to assist the occupant from the vehicle, EMS went available on location.

Firefighters remained on scene until the vehicle was removed from the water.

TVFD reminds everyone to “turn around, don’t drown” and avoid driving through water, especially moving water!
