At 10:37am, TVFD and EMS were dispatched to a chimney fire on Isabella Road in West Nantmeal. Ladder 69’s crew arrived and confirmed an active fire in the chimney’s flue. Further investigation revealed cracks in the piping that allowed heat transfer into the attic beams. The area was extinguished, overhauled and cleaned out, and extension was held to the area of origin. The scene was turned over to the homeowner and units cleared.
