Overheated Pump at Whitford Corp

At 6:55am, TVFD was dispatched to a fire alarm at Whitford Corp on Park Ave in Elverson. Chief 69 (Hornberger) arrived confirming an active alarm with a light smoke condition present in the utility room. Ladder 69's crew found a small fire in an overheated water pump, and wet the area down with a water extinguisher. The crew stood-by until the unit cooled down and turned the situation over to the facility maintenance staff.
