Over the past several weeks, Firefighters Ashley Spangler, Tim Cunningham, and Bill Bailey completed their "Incident Safety Officer" certification through Bucks County Fire Academy, held at Station 33 (Honey Brook). This course consisted of over 36 hours in both classroom theory and practical skills covering perspective topics including: fire suppression operations, technical rescue operations, hazardous materials operations, building construction, fire science and behavior relative to predicting hostile fire events, incident command system, personnel accountability system, scene rehabilitation strategies, accident investigation and review process, and post-incident analysis.

Congratulations to these individuals for continuing to keep their skills proficient and to better themselves to protect their fellow firefighters and the community!!

Thank you to Honey Brook Fire Company for hosting this course and the invitation to TVFD members to attend!
