At 2:01am, TVFD and mutual aid departments were dispatched to a house fire on Merwood Drive in the Honey Brook Township section of Mountain View. Chief 69 (Hornberger) and Deputy 69 (Brooks) arrived reporting a single home with fire showing from the front corner of the structure. The house was found to be under construction and confirmed unoccupied, with active fire on the first floor and the basement, with extension into the second floor. Ladder 69's crew split operations both on an interior fire attack and ventilating the structure. Engine 33-1's (Honey Brook) crew assisted with interior operations, and Engine 69-5 set up for water supply. Interior crews advised of a partial floor collapse on the first floor and secured the area. Additional fire units provided manpower and stoodby for water supply. Rescue 47 (Lionville) was originally dispatched as the RIT assignment, but cancelled enroute by command after the bulk of the fire was extinguished. Scene lighting and airbank operations were provided by Rescue 69, while Ambulance 89-1's crew setup rehab. Overhaul operations were completed, and all crews stoodby until the county fire marshals completed their investigation. All units were released by command and returned available.

Final units cleared at 3:50am
