At 4:03pm, TVFD was dispatched to assist EMS with an injured person at Saint Peter's Village in Warwick. Responding 69 units were advised of a injured subject along the creek rocks that needed assistance out of the woods. Chief 69 (Hornberger) assumed "Saint Peter's Command" and began assessing the extrication plan with EMS and TVFD crews. After determining the subject's injuries were non-life threatening and the location being along the creek with steep, rocky terrain, the Chester County Rescue Task Force was requested to the scene. The task force crews arrived and set up a ropes and rigging system to extricate the patient in a secure stokes basket. Utilizing the rope system and manpower, the patient was safely removed and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Final units cleared at 6:43pm

*Special thank you to the CC Rescue Task Force for their specialized assistance, as well as Churchtown FC for assisting with a fire alarm while TVFD crews were involved in the rescue.
