Drill Night BBQ and Vehicle Extrication Training

TVFD members joined together during the weekly drill night for an early summer BBQ and to brush up on vehicle extrication skills. Several vehicles were donated by a local used car dealer and towing company, and were set up by Captain 69 (Grazioli) to simulate real life situations. The first evolution was commanded by Battalion 69 (Belgarde) and used a crew from both Rescue 69 and Engine 69-1 simultaneously working on two vehicles to extricate "victims". The second evolution paired senior and junior members together to work through various extrication methods in gaining access to trapped victims. TVFD's crew worked together keeping their skills updated and increased the knowledge and confidence of the younger and newer team members.

Thanks to Carsense and Stacey's Towing for donating the vehicles and FP Captain Chalfin for the photos.
