Visiting and enjoying the various Lancaster area Fire Dept. web sites, hope to retire out your way in a year or so so am looking for a fire company that needs another old fire horse to get in the way and make unwanted suggestions. On the other hand I am still active here and perhaps can be of assistance to you, I am regular driver/pump operator here and I still make about 80% of our calls. I am licensed as a Chief Engineer for Fireboats if anyone out there has one tied up needing engineers. Spoke to some real nice firefighters from Gap at rough and tumble and I am looking forward to being of assistance when I get out in your area. Great web sites, keep up the good work and stay safe, Respectfully, Jim

Hey, I like that 5 ton !!! WE just bought a 71 5 ton with the Cummins diesel. We had planned on painting ours like yours. I accidently stumbled onto your site and now that I see what your truck looks like, I can get a pretty good idea of how our "should" look. Will send a pic when it is done..Great Website !!
I knew I had been to the site before. I was one of the first to sign the guestbook. Gonna miss those old firehouses. They have a lot of character. Just so you all know, I now have a bag to carry my camera on the bike, so when it gets warm I will be shooting pics.
Keep up the good work gang. Hope everything continues smoothly.

To my friends at TVFD. Great job on merging the two departments. You guys saw the light to provide better fire protection for your residents and took the bull by the horns and did it!!!!!
To President Bob Cook, it looks like you have a great team to lead and I am sure that you guys will succeed.
To Chief Witkowski, hope your head doesn't get bigger than your helmet, but I know that Traci will knock you down a peg or two cause she "Rules".
To my nephew, Keith Romig, I know that your great grandfather Nelms(the 1st asst chief of HBFC) would be proud of you, as I am. Since I am retired from the fire service now, you need to keep up the tradition. Hopefully one day I will see your name with "Chief" in front of it. Always remember where you came from and that the guys will only do what you would do, don't expect the unexpected.
To some of the others that may know me, keep up the good work and if any of you are ever in Florida, please let Keith know so he can contact me.
Best of luck to all of you, and I will keep coming back to the website to check on you all.
See ya all had to help out HBFC the other day on the barn fire, Keith did you make it, or did you stay home to go to work for your Big Brother Kenny?????

Cory Hostetler of the Mogantown Fire Department came to our facility this morning to instruct us in fire safety and extinguisher use. Cory was pleasant, professional, and very knowledgeable. Thank you Cory! And thank you Tim McEwen for setting everything up.
Also I would like to thank all the firefighters that responded to our fire on October 6th. Your prompt response is appreciated!
Great looking site guys, very easy to navigate and very informative. Keep up the good work and congratulations on your successful merger. I hope others can learn from your work.
