Congratulations to Josh Joyce for completing Firefighter 1! After 188 hours of both academic and physical training, this young man graduated on December 12, 2023. Starting mid- September, Josh began attending classes four days a week in addition to his already busy schedule. With the multiple challenges each individual faces on a daily basis, including a full time job, time was difficult to manage. He gave up all his extra time to participate in this training course and completed all the necessary outside practice and review. The department is proud of Josh for his accomplishments.
