Dual Fatality with Two Heavily Trapped on Main Street

At 10:39AM Rescue 69 along with two ambulances from 89(Elverson) and one Ambulance from 33(Honey Brook) were dispatched to assist Station 3-4(Churchtown) for an auto accident with entrapment at the intersections of Route 23 and Maxwell Hill Rd in Caernarvon Township Lancaster County.
Rescue 69 went enroute with 5 volunteers and arrived within minutes to find a vehicle on its roof with two heavily entrapped. Volunteers from Engine 3-4-1 and Squad 3-4 were performing stabilization on the vechicle as the rescue's crew was setting up for a full extracation. Unfortunately after EMS arrived and evaluated the patients, it was determined that they had surccomed to their injuries prior to emergency personell arriving on scene.
Extracation was complete at 12:16pm after the state police and coroner's office did their investigation.
Rescue 69 went available 12:27PM.
