Passing Of Life Member

With deep regret, TVFD announces the passing of life member Frederick "Fred" McMullen. Fred began his fire service with Elverson Fire Company both as a apparatus driver and fire police officer and created many cherished memories and infamous one liners with the membership. He continued serving his community with Twin Valley Fire Department and Geigertown Fire Company as a valued member of the fire police. Fred was also well known in the area as the 32 year owner (along with his wife Janet) of McMullen's Greenhouse in Elverson Borough. Funeral services will be held this Saturday at 2 p.m. at The Labs Funeral Home in Honey Brook.
