At 10:29am, Rescue 69 was dispatched with an engine from Honey Brook to assist at a serious accident on Route 23 in Caernarvon Lancaster. Churchtown Chief 34 was reporting a 2 vehicle accident in front of Conestoga Christian School involving a tractor trailer, with heavy entrapment and multiple telephone poles down. Rescue 69 and Engine 33-1 arrived and assisted with extrication and patient packaging. Crews also assisted with controlling a fuel leak from a ruptured tank on the truck and clearing a large amount of debris along the roadway. Fire police from multiple companies closed Route 23 for an extended period during the clean-up, removal of vehicles, and the investigation.

Final units cleared at 2:47pm.
