Rollover On Chestnut Hill Road

At 6:14pm, TVFD and Ambulance 89 were dispatched to an automobile accident on Chestnut Hill Road in Caernarvon Berks. While units were enroute, Chester County Fireboard upgraded the assignment to entrapment, adding Medic 93 from Brandywine Hospital. Ambulance 89-2 arrived onscene to find one vehicle off the roadway on it's side, with one subject confined and unable to self extricate. Rescue 69's crew stabilized the vehicle and assisted the occupant out of the vehicle for evaluation by EMS personnel. Hazards were secured on the vehicle and fire police maintained traffic control due to extremely icy conditions in the area.
