Car Verses Pole On Route 82

At 1:15pm, TVFD along with Honey Brook EMS were alerted for an auto accident at Route 82 and Chestnut Tree Road involving a pole down in the roadway. Chief 69 arrived confirming wires and a pole down across the road and added Medic 93 after determining the driver had passed out. Rescue 69 arrived and split the crew to handle patient care till EMS arrived and provide scene safety and traffic control. Route 82 was closed for several hours while utility crews worked to repair the pole and clear the roadway.
TVFD units cleared the scene at 5:01pm.
