TVFD Visits Little Mates

Today, members of the Twin Valley Fire Department visited Little Mates Child Development Center for Community Volunteer week. The children and their teachers were very excited to see and learn about what firefighters do and what they wear. The children were also able to view one of the trucks and sit in the front seat. Some of the children even enjoyed trying on a set of gear to feel how heavy it is and how it protects firefighters. There were many questions asked and a lot of excited faces during the visit.
