Multiple Trapped At Morgan Way Accident

At 10:19am, TVFD and EMS were dispatched to an automobile accident with entrapment at Morgan Way and Quarry Road In Caernarvon Berks. 69-30 (Cunningham) arrived confirming two vehicles blocking the roadway, with one vehicle on it’s side. Four occupants were found trapped in the over turned vehicle, but stated they did not believe they were seriously injured. Chief 69 (Brooks) established “Morgan Way Command” and began coordinating a plan to remove the victims and checking for injuries. Ambulance 89-1 and Medic 193 arrived and began triage of of the victims to determine any need for additional EMS units. Fire police closed the roadway and detoured traffic around the incident. Engine 69-1 and Rescue 69’s crew stabilized the vehicle and were immediately able to remove 3 victims through the sunroof. The 4th victim was extricated after a portion of the roof was removed. All occupants from both vehicles were evaluated by EMS and determined to not need transport to the hospital. Debris and fluids were cleared from the roadway, and the crew stood by until removal of the vehicles. All units cleared the scene, and Caernarvon Police and Chief 69 provided transport of the out of town occupants to a local restaurant to await public transportation.

TVFD cleared at 11:28am.
