At 9:23pm, TVFD and EMS were dispatched to a chimney fire on James Mill Road in Warwick. Chief 69 (Brooks) arrived onscene confirming a large amount of embers coming from the top of the chimney. Crews from Ladder 69 deployed to the roof to check the exterior portion of the chimney, while crews from Engine 69-1 & 69-5 entered the house to investigate the wood stove. It was determined the fire was contained to the primary stove box and a clogged interior pipe. The wood stove unit was disassembled for suppression of smoldering material and to overhaul the area to prevent fire spread. Once all burning material was removed, it was confirmed no extension was involved into the structure. Ventilation was completed and all units returned available.

TVFD cleared at 10:06pm.
