At 3:29pm, TVFD and EMS were dispatched to a motorcycle accident at Route 23 and Twin Valley Road in Caernarvon Berks. Arriving units confirmed a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle, with one subject down in the roadway. Patient care was being provided by civilian bystanders, and relieved by the crew of Ambulance 144 (Westwood) covering 89 EMS, and Medic 93 (Brandywine). Rescue 69's crew arrived and assisted EMS, controlled vehicle hazards, and began providing traffic control. The driver was transported to a local trauma center, while fire personnel secured the scene for the investigation. Additional fire police from TVFD and Lancaster 34 (Churchtown) were requested to the scene to close the roadway. Personnel stoodby on location and detoured traffic around the scene for an extended period of time. After police concluded an investigation and debris was cleared from the roadway, all units cleared the scene.
