This morning, TVFD held its 6th golf outing at the Stonewall Country Club. Golfers were greeted by the staff and firefighters at sign in, and were given the opportunity to purchase mulligans, extra million dollar shot chances, and 50/50 raffle tickets. Participants filled up on breakfast catered by Claire's Restaurant, as golfers headed out to the course at 9am. Special holes were throughout the course including a longest drive wearing firefighter gear, closest to the pin, longest drive, hole in one winning a Jeep Wrangler, and a closest to the pin winning a chance for a million dollar hole in one shot. After the golfers were finished playing 18 holes, a buffet style lunch was enjoyed that was prepared by Sue Prowell. The event organizer, Mark Prowell also had some very nice things to say about the fire department, and thanked everyone for coming out and supporting the cause. Following lunch, everyone gathered on the 9th hole to watch Phil Over take a shot at one million dollars after winning the closest to the hole chance. Closing remarks and award presentations by Firefighter Bob Gebhardt completed the event. Congratulations to first place team Lew Sagner's group and second place team Crump/Penn Mutual group.

TVFD thanks all of the participants, sponsors, contributors, volunteers, and event organizers Mark Prowell and Dave Stoltzfus!!
