At 8:23am, TVFD and EMS units were dispatched to an automobile accident at Little Conestoga Road and Route 345 in West Nantmeal. Chief 69 (Brooks) arrived confirming a two vehicle accident, with several injuries. A second ambulance was requested by responding EMS personnel, dispatching Ambulance 144 (Westwood) to assist. Rescue 69 and Engine 69-1's crew assisted with patient care, secured vehicle hazards, and controlled spilled fluids on the roadway. Squad 69 and fire police arrived and safely controlled traffic through the area. All occupants were transported to a local hospital for treatment, and fire crews remained until removal of the vehicles.
