TVFD volunteers started their Sunday morning at 8:29am, responding to Elverson Road in Caernarvon Berks for a chimney fire. Crews arrived to find light smoke coming from around several bricks of the exterior chimney, with no abnormal conditions found inside the home. Upon further inspection, it was determined to be caused by possible environmental wear on the chimney's bricks, and no fire threat was found of the structure. Homeowners were advised to contact a certified chimney inspector and units cleared the scene at 8:58am.

At 10:16am, TVFD was dispatched to Pine Swamp Road in Warwick for a smoke detector activation. Engine 69-1's crew inspected the home and determined the cause to be faulty detectors. Homeowners were advised to replace the outdated detectors and TVFD cleared at 10:40am.

At 2:00pm, TVFD and EMS were dispatched for a carbon monoxide alarm on Yeingst Dr in Elverson. Crews checked the entire home with meters, confirming zero abnormal readings. It was again determined to be caused by faulty detectors and homeowners were advised to replace the monitors. Units cleared at 2:18pm.

At 3:51pm, TVFD was dispatched for a gas leak on Caernarvon Dr in Caernarvon Berks. Engine 69-1's crew found a small leak in a frozen outside tank valve and confirmed no threat was present to the home. The emergency valve was secured and the situation was turned over to the homeowner. TVFD units cleared at 4:16pm.

At 5:37pm, TVFD and EMS were dispatched to a gas leak at the Holiday Inn in Caernarvon Berks. Crews were advised of an active leak in the laundry room area with high meter readings throughout several floors. Chief 69 (Brooks) assumed "Holiday Inn Command" and evacuations of all occupants were begun as other crews began extensive ventilation efforts. Gas company crews were already onscene securing the utilities to the building and investigating the exact location of the leak. All evacuees were set up at a temporary shelter in the Caernarvon Township's building, until arrangements were made at other local hotels. Numerous ventilation methods were set in place until safe readings were found throughout the entire building. Fire crews stood by for an extended amount of time until the hotel maintenance staff and utility crews isolated the leak and deemed the scene safe. Final TVFD units cleared at 10:47pm.
