At 1:32pm, TVFD and EMS were dispatched to an automobile accident with entrapment on the eastbound PA Turnpike in Upper Uwchlan. Responding units were advised of a multiple vehicle accident initially reported with a trapped driver, but additional 911 calls stated that the driver was able to self extricate. Ambulance 189-2 and Rescue 69 arrived and confirmed the reports. Crews worked to assess the occupants for injuries, control spilled fluids on the roadway, and secure hazards on the vehicles. EMS transported those injured to a local hospital, while fire crews remained until released by the turnpike personnel.

TVFD cleared at 2:44pm.
